You cheer me up & Cornucopia Awards

The gorgeous Ingeborg at Ponderings at Bagatelle gave me this lovely award.

I just can't think of a greater compliment than knowing I've made someone smile.

I am proud to accept this award, and to pass it on to the people who make my bloggy world a place I keep coming back to with happy thoughts.

The original award comes from A Nice Place in the Sun, a place where everyone who has won the award is listed.

The creator of the You Cheer Me Up award had three things in mind for the recipients:
* bloggers who make me laugh until my face hurts
* bloggers whose writing voice comforts me when I'm feeling lost
* bloggers who inspire me when I'm feeling blue.

I'd like to nominate Kate, at Our Red House. I love Kate's photographs, her cooking, her passion for coffee and the small stories she tells of her family and community.

I'd like to nominate Ali at Our Patch. Ali is a passionate gardener and her posts really keep me concentrated on the green and frugal path.

And lastly, Lightening at Lightening Online who writes some really funny musings about herself and her family life on an Australian farm. She is immersed in the blogging world and amazes me with all the new ideas she puts into her blog.

The original award instructions are:

If you are a recipient of the You Cheer Me Up Award, please find the blogs that cheer you up, copy the code to post on your sidebar and pass Ethel and Lucy across the blogosphere. You can use what cheers you up in your post, or copy this one, but please send your award recipients back to the original post on A Nice Place In The Sun to get a copy of the award code, post the image and read the instructions. I want to try to maintain a page of original and ongoing award recipients, so feel free to let me know if you've received an award when you pick up the image code.

Then today, Lightening nominated me for a gardening award which I might say fills me with pride! It's the Cornucopia Award! The Cornucopia Blog Award is for those who’ve played in the dirt and shared the flowery, frustrating fun with the rest of us.

Thanks!

I'd like to pass this one on straight away to Belinda at Belinda's Simple Life. Belinda spends so much time and effort planning her garden from scratch, she is a great model for people like me! And I'm nominating Tracy at Sunny Corner Farm who has beautiful basketloads of fresh vegies from her garden, in a place not so very far away from me.
